🍝 Ode to Doncaster
h, the little city of Doncaster — how we love you.
February felt like the right time to show some local love to La Rustica, where we enjoyed our Christmas staff meal. Located on Nether Hall Road, this Italian restaurant serves a mouth-watering range of steak, pizza and pasta dishes.
What stood out most was the team’s warmth and customer care — they made our evening truly special. As you can see from the photo (where we’re all very dutifully looking at the camera!), it was a fantastic night. Safe to say, La Rustica is now a firm favourite with the Parkhurst team.
🏭 Seiko Factory Trip
You may have noticed our practices were closed on Monday 19th January — here’s why.
At the end of January, our team enjoyed a trip to Wrexham, courtesy of our lens partners Seiko. It was a brilliant opportunity to step away from the practices and spend time together as a team.
Luke put Martin through his paces at the gym, others enjoyed the spa, while Alex and Tasha explored the hotel gardens. The hotel bar provided a welcome retreat on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon.
The highlight was an informative visit to the Seiko lens factory. It’s always fascinating to see how lenses are produced — ask us about it next time you’re in!
