Terms and Conditions of Direct Debit Payment
Acceptance on to the direct debit payment scheme is subject to a suitable viability score and is at the discretion of Parkhurst Opticians.
If payments are defaulted an administration charge will apply for recovery of payments.

Any missed payments will be asked for in full.

If you wish to cancel your contact lenses you must inform us first and we will tell you when your direct debit payments need to end to cover the balance of the contact lenses.

Terms and Conditions of Direct Debit Payment
Acceptance on to the direct debit payment scheme is subject to a suitable viability score and is at the discretion of Parkhurst Opticians.
On approval of the Direct Debit scheme, a deposit of 20% is required before spectacles can be ordered.
Applying for the direct Debit scheme must take place when the order is placed to avoid delaying collection of the spectacles.
Terms of Direct Debits are 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months.


The Direct Debit scheme is an offer not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.
The spectacles Direct Debit scheme may be withdrawn at any time. In this instance existing Direct Debits will be allowed to run and the offer will be closed to new customers. This will be non-negotiable.

In the event of two spectacle Direct Debits being required for the same customer. This will only be accepted if there are less than 2 months outstanding on the first Direct Debit and there have been no payment defaults through the term of the Direct Debit.
In the event of two different Customers Direct Debits on the same account, authorisation must be signed for by the account holder.
Payment for spectacles must start on the collection of your spectacles. In some instances this may mean a payment must be made to the practice prior to the start Direct Debit is due to begin. This amount will be calculated for you on the collection of your spectacles.
Interest is not charged on this scheme.


If payments are defaulted, an administration charge will apply for recovery of payments. Please enquire at the branch for the up to date charges.
If Direct Debit payments are returned to us unpaid, we will advise you of this as soon as possible, we will ask that you pay this missed payment immediately in the branch where the spectacles were collected.
We no longer extend Direct Debits due to missed payments
In the event that we do not receive your Direct Debit payments for 2 consecutive months we will require full payment for the spectacles, the Direct Debit arrangement will be cancelled.
If the account is still in a default, Daniel Silverman, a debt collection agency will be engaged to take over the recovery of the outstanding balance . Further charges will then apply
