We are looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Receptionist to join our Bentley practice at Parkhurst & Co. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of the practice.

Location: Bentley, Doncaster
Hours: Part-time or full-time (flexible)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role
The Receptionist position involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, answering telephone and email enquiries, processing payments, updating patient records and supporting colleagues throughout the day. You will help create a warm and professional environment for our patients, ensuring every visit feels personal and positive.

Key Responsibilities
• Greeting patients and providing a friendly, helpful service
• Managing bookings, rescheduling and daily appointment flow
• Handling phone calls, emails and general enquiries
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with optometrists, dispensers and other team members
• Supporting the wider practice team with administrative tasks
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area

What We’re Looking For
• Warm, approachable and patient-focused
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confident using computers and booking systems
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Previous reception or retail experience is helpful but not essential
