£562.50 Raised for CoppaFeel! – Thank You for Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

At Parkhurst and Co, we believe it’s important to be open and transparent about the charitable causes we support and the impact our patients help us to achieve.

We’re therefore proud to share confirmation of our recent donation to CoppaFeel!, a charity dedicated to educating young people about breast cancer awareness and the importance of regularly checking their chest.

Official Confirmation from CoppaFeel! for Breast Cancer Awarness

In January 2026, we were delighted to receive a formal letter from CoppaFeel! acknowledging a donation of £562.50, made on behalf of Parkhurst & Co.

This letter confirms the total amount donated following our Bring Your Breastie awareness and fundraising initiative.

How the Donation Was Raised

The funds were raised during our “Bring Your Breastie” day event, held at Parkhurst & Co to encourage open, relaxed conversations around breast health awareness.

We partnered with eyewear brands Johann von Goisern and Face à Face, combining eyewear styling with education and fundraising.

The fundraising included:

• £10 donated for every Johann von Goisern and Face à Face frame sold

• A raffle, with patients able to purchase tickets for the chance to win a complete pair of spectacles — frame and lenses of their choice

• CoppaFeel! awareness posters displayed in restrooms across our practices, keeping the message visible and accessible

Following the original event, we were fortunate to receive additional donations, which is why the final confirmed total differs slightly from the amount referenced when the campaign first launched.

Breast cancer awareness is something that resonates deeply with our family and our team.

Both my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law have been successfully treated for breast cancer, reinforcing just how vital early awareness and prompt action can be.

As a healthcare business with a predominantly female workforce, we feel a responsibility to actively support education, awareness, and charities that empower people to look after their long-term health.
